Mysore Zone posts innings victory

Bangalore : Mysore Zone defeated Shimoga Zone by an innings and 163 runs in a KSCA Inter-Zonal under-17 tournament match that concluded here on Saturday.

Mysore after posting 308, bundled out Shimoga for 73 and 72 while Joshva (four for seven) and Salaudin (five for 23) bagged the wickets.

The scores:

Mysore Zone 308 in 85 overs bt Shimoga Zone 73 in 29.3 overs (Joshva four for seven) and 72 in 29.5 overs (Salauddin five for 23).

President's XI 292 for seven in 90 overs (Arjun Hoysala 116) drew with Vice President's XI 152 in 36.5 overs (A. Mithun four for 56) and 16 for no loss in 2.5 overs.

Combined XI 331 for nine in 82 overs drew with Bangalore Zone 68 for five in 22 overs (Mohmmed Omar four for 32).

Mangalore Zone 181 in 72.4 overs drew with Secretary's XI 96 for three in 26 overs (Mayank Agarwal 49).

Raichur Zone 185 in 55.3 overs and 243 for five in 60 overs (Murali Krishna 105 n.o., Md. Ibrahim 43) drew with Bangalore City 163 in 64 overs (K. Naveen five for 55).

Dharwad Zone 143 in 48.3 overs drew with Tumkur Zone 188 in 89.1 overs (Abhalish 53, T.M.R. Abhishek four for 44).
