NEW DELHI:
At least 12 persons, including six security personnel, were injured in three grenade blasts at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camps in Srinagar on Saturday evening.
Grenades blasts hit CRPF camps at Qamarwari, Dal Gate and Id Garh within a span of 20 minutes.
The injured were rushed to the hospital and the police have cordoned off the area. A combing operation is on to search the militants behind the attack.
No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The attacks come close on the heels of January 6 attack of a similar kind in which one person was killed and 30 others were wounded in Shopian town, 37 miles south of Srinagar. - ANI
