1. The Government of India have received a loan in Million Japanese Yens 16,049 from J.B.I.C., Japan towards the cost of K.C. Canal Modernisation Project and intend a part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts, for construction of works as detailed below. Bidders registered with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Bidders registered with other State Governments, Government of India, State and Central Government undertakings are eligible to bid for work. The invitation for Bids is also open to all bidders from the eligible source countries as defined in the JBIC guidelines for procurement. The eligible source countries for procurement of all goods and services for this contract shall be all countries and all areas.

2. The Superintending Engineer, G.N.S.S. Circle, T.G.P. Colony, Cuddapah, Cuddapah District, Andhra Pradesh, India invites Bids for the Construction of work detailed in the table. Bids will be received simultaneously in the (1) Office of the Tenders Sub-Division, in the Office of the Engineer-in-Chief (I.W.), A.P., Errum Manzil, Hyderabad (2) Office of the Superintendent of Police, Cuddapah District, Cuddapah and (3) Office of the Superintending Engineer, G.N.S.S. Circle, T.G.P. Colony, Cuddapah, Cuddapah District. Bids from Joint ventures or subcontracting are not acceptable. Government owned enterprises in the Employer's Country may only participate if they are legally and financially autonomous, operate under commercial law and are not a dependent agency of the employer.

3. Bid documents (in 3 sets) may be purchased from the Office of the Superintending Engineer, G.N.S.S. Circle, T.G.P. Colony, Cuddapah, Cuddapah District, Andhra Pradesh, India and also from Office of the Tenders Sub-Division in the Office of the Engineer-in-Chief, I&CAD Department, Errum Manzil, Hyderabad - 500 482, Andhra Pradesh, India from the dates indicated in the table by Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank payable at Cuddapah in favour of Pay and Accounts Officer, T.G.P., Cuddapah for a non-refundable fee as indicated in the table. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the same address. The request for Bid Documents by mail, by Registered Post / Speed Post shall be made to the Superintending Engineer, G.N.S.S. Circle, T.G.P. Colony, Cuddapah, Cuddapah District, Andhra Pradesh, India along with a Demand Draft for Rs.9,000/- (including Sales Tax) with an extra amount of Rs.1,000/- in India and Rs.3,000/- outside India towards Postal Charges. The Superintending Engineer, G.N.S.S. Circle, T.G.P. Colony, Cuddapah, Cuddapah District, Andhra Pradesh, India will not be held responsible for the Postal delay if any, in the delivery of the documents or even non-receipt of the same.

5. The Superintending Engineer, G.N.S.S. Circle, T.G.P. Colony, Cuddapah, Cuddapah District, Andhra Pradesh, India reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason therefor.

6. Bid documents shall not be issued to the Bidders who have taken more than one work in this project and the progress of work is not satisfactory.
