1. Why did you prefer Singapore for studying abroad?

Close to India and I got a scholarship here

2. What difference do you see while studying in Singapore?

Easier to get opportunities for participating internationally – Also being a smaller country it is easier to stand out.

3. What is it that you like in Singapore?

Good living conditions + no pollution

4. What are the placement opportunities in Singapore for Indian students taking up higher education? Which companies come for Campus interviews in each college or university?

Depends on the economy in a particular year – Tech, finance and consulting dominate in job opportunities

5. Do you plan to stay and settle in Singapore?

Yes – I have been here for 9 years and plan to stay for atleast 3 more years

6. Does an education in Singapore provide you a global outlook? If so, in what manner?

Yes – because of the numerous opportunities that a person can get

7. Can you give details of on campus facilities in your institution?

Ranks among the best in the world – It is comparable and even better to MIT where I was for a semester

8. How did you finance your education? How do you compare financing in Singapore, as opposed to India?

Scholarship for undergrad and graduate studies – This makes studying in Singapore possible with bond constrains though

9. What is your personal experience of study in Singapore? Do you have anything to say about the city-State's cultural mix?

Its fun and helps a person to grow faster staying away from home.

10. Will you recommend a study in Singapore in general for juniors back home in India?

Yes

11. What is the off-campus life in Singapore?

Vibrant – being a small place you get involved in a lot of activities for recreation
