Sangalpam

(Jaya TV, Wednesdays, 20.30)

For those who are partial to serials that revolve round the mayhem created by super-natural beings, then ``Sangalpam'' would make for an interesting viewing.

The story takes off when a major (played by actor Rajeev) decides to settle down in his native village. Accompanied by his family, consisting of wife Bharathy, son Rishi and daughter Roja, he visits his village, buys a plot of land and begins the construction of their house. Some mishaps occur during the process, but disregarding the `omen', the construction is completed and the family moves in.

Their happiness is, however, short lived. Shrieks wake them up in the dead of the nights; it appears as though an invisible person has invaded the house, going by the signs of damage done to the property. And then a couple of totally unexplained deaths take place. His family has had enough. They want to leave.

Although the major does not personally subscribe to the `ghost theory', his family overrules him. Heart of hearts, though, he is determined to get to the bottom of affairs before they vacate the place.

Co-starring Satish, Rohit, Vaasan, `Typist' Gopu and Y. V. S.
