Auspicious way to begin the day

Lalitha Mahatripurasundari is the pivot of the Sri Vidya tradition.She is the saviour of the universe and according to Lord Hayagriva, worship of the Goddess would liberate the soul and pave the path for salvation. The Mantras, extolling the Devi, are recited in keeping with the traditional mode by Prof. R. Tyagarajan, L. Sampath Kumar, K. Malolakannan, Bhaktavatsalam, Sivarajan and Usha Viswanath.

Geethanjali - GR 2062 - Sri Hayagriva Upasana - Sacred Sanskrit recital - Rs. 50.

Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva (the Lord with the Horse's face) is the presiding deity for knowledge. According to Hindu mythology when two monsters stole the Vedas from Brahma, he sought the help of Mahavishnu who took the form of the horse-faced Hayagriva, destroyed the monsters and restored the Vedas to Brahma. Prof. Tyagarajan and his team have chanted the Hayagriva Gayathri, Sri Hayagriva Sahasranama, Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva Dhandakam, stotram and Pancharatnam to perfection. It is believed that reciting these mantras with devotion would make one proficient in any sphere of knowledge that he chooses.

Geethanjali - GR 2060 - Sri Mahalakshmi Mantropasana - Suchitra Krishnamurthi - Rs. 50.

The Mahalakshmi mantra, the Bhijaksharas of which are scientifically interwoven covering all the manifestations of Lakshmi, has been rendered soulfully by Suchitra Krishnamoorthi. She has been guided by Prof. Tyagarajan, the HOD of the Sanskrit Department at Presidency College. Praveen Mani has composed the tune that provides a meditative environment.

Geethanjali - GR 2056 - Varalakshmi Puja and other Lakshmi Stotras - Sacred Sanskrit Recital - Price Rs. 50.

Performing Varalakshmi Pooja is said to be equal to worshipping all forms of Lakshmi. The whole gamut of the Varalakshmi Puja stotras including the Purvanga puja, Asana puja, Kalasa Puja, Varalakshmi Ashtotram, Sri Lakshmi Hrudayam, etc., are the contents of this volume. To Prof. Tyagarajan along with others goes the credit for a devoted, involved chanting.
