(Sun TV, Weekdays, 22.00)

It is generally said that the face is the index of the mind. It is also said that appearances can sometimes deceive. The story revolves round the family of Varadarajan, a writer. Chitra (Ravali) his young daughter is a carefree college student who thinks life is smooth sailing. She falls in love with Surya (Satish) and decides to marry him. But her elder sister Gauri (Saranya) warns her about his family and tries to prevent the marriage because she knows that Surya's brother, Jayaprakash (`Thalaivasal' Vijay) is a crook. Despite her best efforts, the marriage takes place. Meanwhile, Gauri marries Shankar, a good friend of Varadarajan. How Jayaprakash disturbs Gauri's married life and how Chitra realises her mistake, forms the rest of the story.

Produced by Saregama India Limited, the cast includes Shakti Kumar, Vizhudhugal Kannan, Saimadhavi and Amarasigamani. Story is by Siva Sankari and direction by K. Rangaraj.
