Dance institution's anniversary

THE 32ND anniversary celebrations of Shree Bharatalaya, founded by Sudharani Raghupathi, Bharatanatyam exponent, and eminent Vidwan Madurai N. Krishnan, will take place on Sunday, July 7, (6.01 p.m.) at the Sathguru Gnanananda Hall of Narada Gana Sabha. "Natya Devo Bhava" will include the release of ``Laghu Bharatham," Volume 3, with Tamil translation (hand book on Bharatanatyam) by Justice P. R. Gokulakrishnan, president, Tamizh Isai Sangam. The first copy will be received by Anita Ratnam. L. Sabaretnam, chairman, Kartik Fine Arts, and Director, IOC, will offer his felicitations. The chief guest will be N. Gopalaswamy, Secretary, Department of Culture, Government of India.

On this occasion Shree Bharatalaya will honour well known personalities in the field of dance. ``Natya Vyuham," a dance performance, will also be presented as part of the event, apart from ``Nartana Arpanam" by the students of Shree Bharatalaya.
