Directed by Jagan, the story revolves round the travails of different women.

Women's love, fear, anger, defeat, victory, sadness, betrayal, struggle, happiness, separation, relationship — all these will be portrayed through interestingly woven tales.

Nirmala wants a luxurious life. Her greed leads to a rift with her husband. What will she do if he leaves her? Radha makes a sacrifice by marrying for money so that she can get her ailing father treated; What will Sakthi, a revolutionary girl who fights for justice, do when she discovers that her parents have not been honest? And how will Sharadha, who married a Muslim, face life after her husband is killed in the riots? These are some of the characters portrayed in the serial.

Produced by Gold Television Network, the cast includes Sadhana, Sindhu, Devadharshini, Pragathi, Ponvannan, Sathish, Koushik and `Poovinlangu' Mohan.
