Sankaranthi at Sabarimalai
A NEW programme, titled "Sabarimalai Makara Sankaranthi", produced by Media World, with Rohit Subbiah as the cameraman, will be telecast on Jaya TV, from January 4 to 14, from 6.30 a.m., to 7 a.m. Actor M. N. Nambiar, singers K. J. Yesudas and Sirkazhi Sivachidambaram, and Suki Sivam, who is well-known for his religious discourses, will speak on Lord Ayyappan.
Yesudas and Sivachidambaram will also render bhajans on the Lord. Yesudas's bhajans will comprise songs in his music album "Tarangini", while Nambiar will share with viewers the various incidents and miracles experienced during the 60 years of his visit to Sabarimalai.
The programme will cover places from the Pampa to the Sannidhanam, including Pampa Ganapathi, Erimaeli, Paettai Thullal, Saranguthi and Sabari Peedam.
