Expressing passion


Mona `Jassi' Singh has got a new role. Now she would be presenting "Extraaa Shots" on MAX. The programme starts on September 15 at 8 p.m. To start with, Mona will present the world TV premiere of the multi-starrer, "Traffic Signal". Mona says, "As a movie jockey, I will introduce the film to the viewers, share interesting insights on the film, try and bring out some unknown aspects, features, facts that the audiences would love to know. I am a complete movie fan and now I have a platform to truly express my passion for films."


On the track

Vikas Bhalla is back to his first love - music. Vikas struggled as an actor on big screen, sizzled on the small screen as an actor as well as a host. In between he keeps on coming up with music albums. The latest is "Mehek Teri" where he serenades music lovers with a unique blend of romantic Indian melodies and soft rock styling. Featuring seven original songs and three groovy dance mixes, the album showcases the talent of young upcoming composers Sandeep-Surya & Vivek Bakshi.


New show

Amidst the clutter of sensational crime shows, IBN 7 has come up with a talk show with a difference. Called "Zindagi Live", it is a platform for victims of circumstances who have bravely faced adversities to become survivors. The show host Richa Anirudh, joined by a panel of experts, holds candid discussions with her guests to bring forth their personal struggles to sensitise and touch the viewers on various significant social issues. "Zindagi Live" airs every Sunday at 10 am and 8 pm.


Fresh face

After 13 weeks of rigorous training sessions, nerve racking eliminations and heartbreaks, Channel V has announced Rachel Varghese as the winner of Get Gorgeous 4. Apart from winning the coveted title, Rachel also walks away with an annual contract with Channel V and Elite Model Management that will mark her entry into the glamorous world of modelling. The jury comprising designer duo Nikhil and Shantanu Mehra, former Miss India Universe Neha Kapoor, fashion choreographer Alison Kanuga , former model turned celebrity fitness trainer Deanne Pandey , makeup artist Samantha Kochchar , ace lensman Manoj Jadhav , fashion editor, Seventeen magazine India Kushal Parmanand judged the girls on every aspect, from their walk, body to attitude and style.
