YACD, Gopalapuram, in association with Sri Krishna Sweets has organised Chennai Tamizh Isai, a concert by Sudha Raghunathan on March 30 at Adi Sankara Auditorium of Sri Ayyappan temple, Anna Nagar. This is the second phase of the programme. Mr. Krishnaswamy, secretary, Narada Gana Sabha, will be felicitated for his contribution to cultural development.
Funds needed
Sri Soorathamman Charitable Trust, Peerkangkaranai, new Perungalathur, is in need of funds for repair work and kumbabhishekam.
Work includes the renovation of the five-tier rajagopuram.

Thrimoorthi Sangeetha Sabha, Asthika Samajam, Pozhichalur, is conducting the 161st aradhana of Tyagaraja on March 30, 7 a.m. Pancharatna kritis will be rendered at 9.45 a.m. by N.C.Soundaravalli and party with Tiruvallur V. Parthasarathy and S. Kannan on the violin, Madurai, S. Srinivasan, A.V.Guruprasad and Tillaisthanam Suryanarayanan on the mridangam. Sathanur R. Krishnamurthy will give a discourse at 5.30 p.m. Anjaneya utsavam will take place at 8 p.m.
Evening of music
Altogether Lovely Ministries International has organised a Praise and Worship Evening titled, ‘Let the Heavens Rejoice’ at St. George’s Anglo-Indian H.S.School grounds, Poonamallee High Road (opp. Pachayappa’s College) on March 29, 6 p.m. This musical concert will feature three Christian bands from the city.
