    PTI director wins printing award

    Kolkata (PTI): Vijay Kumar Chopra, Chief Editor of Hindi daily 'Punjab Kesri' and Punjabi newspaper 'Jag Vani' was on Friday presented with gold, silver and bronze awards for excellence in newspaper printing by the All India Federation of Master Printers here.

    Chopra, a PTI Director, won the three awards in the category -- daily newspapers (other languages).

    The 4th National Awards for Excellence in Printing was organised by the AIFMP at the Science City here.

    "I am very happy to receive this award and this is a recognition for the best printing in the newspaper industry," he said.

    Altogether, 85 different printing companies were presented awards in various categories, including newspapers, posters, catalogues, booklets, calendars, diaries, annual reports and other printing materials.
