    Passenger carrying pro-LTTE books held

    Chennai, Sept. 4 (PTI): A Kuala Lumpur-bound passenger has been arrested at the airport here for possessing books published by the banned Sri Lankan militant group LTTE.

    Police said immigration authorities at the airport last night alerted them about the presence of the books with 29- year-old Suresh, a native of Mannargudi in Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu.

    He was immediately arrested by the Q-Branch of state police, which deals with terrorist activities. Investigation is on in the case, police said.
