    Three bodies recovered in J&K

    Jammu (PTI): Three bodies were fished out from Ranbir canal in Jammu region, police said here on Monday.

    During a search operation in the Ranbir canal after a youth was drowned in Purkhoo area of the city, police assisted several civil teams and fished out three bodies on Sunday, they said.

    While body of Amrit Pal Singh was recovered from the canal at Patoli Brahamana area in the city, two other unidentified bodies were recovered at Muthi and Shaktinagar areas, they said.

    Another body of a truck driver Abash Singh was recovered in Narwal area of the city on Saturday, they said.

    Body of a tailor Subash Chander was also recovered from Arzi area in Samba district on Monday.

    One more body of youth Pawan Kumar was recovered from Subash Nagar area of the city today, they said.
