    Moser Baer forges sourcing tie-up with Deutsche Solar

    Mumbai, March 1. (PTI): Optical storage device maker Moser Baer India on Wednesday said, its wholly-owned subsidiary Moser Baer Photo Voltaic Ltd (MBPV) has tied up with Germany's Deutsche Solar for procuring silicon wafers.

    "This arrangement will ensure that we have an assured supply of silicon wafers of top quality at competitive prices," MBPV chief executive Ravi Khanna said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

    "With the agreement, we have secured over 50 per cent of our short to medium-term requirement of silicon," he added.
