    Indian boxing team left for Russia in wee hours today

    New Delhi (PTI): A nine-member Indian men boxing team, comprising six boxers left for Russia in the wee hours on Monday to participate in the Magomed – Salam Umakhanov Memorial Boxing Championship starting tomorrow.

    The team comprises Amandeep Singh (48 kgs) from Punjab, Akshay Kumar (57 kgs) from Delhi, Jai Singh Patil (69 kgs) from Services , Kuldeep Singh (75 kgs) from Punjab, Jasveer Singh (81 kgs) from Railways, Manpreet Singh (91 kgs) from Services.

    In addition to the six boxers, chief coach Shiv Singh, coach Ramanand, referee and judge R Rajendran also accompanied the team.
