Fox Entertainment names Dan Fawcett president of digital media
Los Angeles, March 9 (AP): News Corp., the global media company run by Rupert Murdoch, on Wednesday named Dan Fawcett president of digital media for Fox Entertainment Group.
Fawcett, 43, will pursue content deals for Fox products with various technology distributors, according to a company spokeswoman. He spent the past three years as executive vice president of programming, business and legal affairs for News Corp.'s DirecTV satellite television service provider.
Fawcett replaces Peter Levinsohn, 40, who in November was named president of Fox Interactve Media, home of MySpace and other Fox Internet sites.
