Thiruvananthapuram, April 23 (PTI): Malayalam channel Jeevan T V has planned a competitive tele-film festival jointly with Atlas Jewellery.

The best tele film selected from the festival would be awarded Rs 1 lakh and the best documentary Rs 50,000, the channel's MD Baby Mathew Somatheeram and Atlas Group Chairman, M M Ramachandran, told a press meet here.

The selected entries would be shown on Jeevan T V during July-August.

There would also be prizes for best male and female actors, child artist, script-writer, editor, cameraperson, music director and male and female singers.

The jury would be headed by noted film director Fasil.
