    Thomson Technicolor keen to back Bollywood movies

    Bangalore (PTI): Thomson Technicolor is looking at supporting Bollywood movies as part of its future strategies, its top official said.

    "Bollywood offers a huge market for us and one of our future goals is to cater and support Bollywood movies as we go about our growth plan", Thierry Pasquet, its Vice-President India told reporters.

    "We are not here for just for the low cost. India is a very vibrant market for us. It is one of the most favourable countries in terms of producing your own IP", he told reporters here.

    "For animation we have chosen Paprikaas; we will also look at working with other studios in the country," Pasquet said.

    Nandish Domlur, CEO Paprikaas said the firm was looking for Fine Arts students "who have a good sense of drawing and can combine it with technology" for the animation studio.
