    INX News ropes in ITV as Editorial Advisor

    New Delhi (PTI): Media house INX News on Tuesday said it has signed Karan Thapar's company Infotainment Television (ITV) as Editorial Advisor on its yet-to-be launched English news channel News X.

    The advisory services would comprise reviewing of progress and consultancy on future editorial development of the channel, the company said in a statement here.

    Established in 2001, ITV has worked for the BBC, Channel News Asia, CNBC TV18, CNN-IBN and Doordarshan amongst other channels.

    Indrani Mukerjea, Chairperson INX News, said, "With the expertise of the editorial and operations team at NewsX, we are ready to provide the highest quality of intelligent news for today's audience."

    Commenting on ITV's appointment as Editorial Advisor to NewsX, Thapar said: "ITV is delighted to accept a special project from NewsX to advise it on how to become one of the most exciting news channels available in India."
