The English and Foreign Languages University, School of Distance Education, Hyderabad, offers MA in French in distance mode. The course spans three years.
The eligibility criterion is a bachelor’s degree in French or bachelor’s degree with French as an elective subject or bachelor’s degree in any discipline and proficiency in French equivalent to at least two-year diploma level course.

Jadavpur University, Kolkata, offers MA Philosophy with Philosophy of Mind as an optional subject. The eligibility criterion is three-year BA Honours degree or its equivalent in the subject from a recognised University with at least 50 per cent marks. Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the honours paper.
