Fragile art

FRAGILE, HANDLE with care! That's the inedible image left in the mind, as one looks at these dainty glass curios that befit the shelves in a living room or the bedroom.

Glass has an advantage, since neither does one have to worry about the colour on the cute piece in the showcase fading with the passage of time, nor does one need to be bothered about rust eating into the piece. All you need to do is to wipe off the ubiquitous dust particles, to have a sparkling set of glass wear. These glass curios were some of the fast moving exhibits that were displayed in a crockery expo held recently.

Thanks to the mastery of the glass blowers, they have been able to produce a variety of items, from whisky glasses and bottles, to beautiful decorative pieces.
