Karen Anand
GOURMET COOKING specialist Karen Anand was in town to promote Britannia Milkman cheese.
Karen held a series of demos at the Windsor Sheraton in front of a large number of women, to prove ``Cheese-Not Just Toppings''.
Starting her career in the food industry in a Michelin 3 Star restaurant in Paris, she went on to open India's first gourmet salad bar.
She has written cookery columns in many magazines and for the past three years has been writing a regular column called ``Cook-In-With Karen''.
Karen has also anchored the Good Food Guise for Star Plus and co-authored the bestseller, Penguin's ``Food Lovers Guide to India and Nepal''.
She has written the intro for the book, ``The Food of India''. Last year, Karen came out with a CD ROM, ``Creative Cooking for The City Couple''.
