Green campaign

KERALA TOURISM seems to have taken a leaf straight out of Tamil Nadu's book when it comes to imposing the ban on the indiscriminate use of plastic. It has come up with the idea of developing a campaign to highlight environmental issues.

One of the celebrities roped in for the campaign is superstar Mohanlal. Lal appears in one of the short promo films produced by Kerala Tourism Department against plastic.

The clipping shows Lal in the middle of a film shooting, but stopping to pick up a plastic carrybag that comes fluttering in the wind.

``These may be useful to you in daily life, but don't throw them so carelessly. Nature is precious, so let's together protect her,'' Mohanlal endorses in the Malayalam ad.
