How rigid is the rule governing the prescription of a gap of time between the weddings of siblings (brothers)?

C. Saroja, Tirupathi-7.

To the best of our knowledge, there is no inflexible rule prescribing an interval of time to be observed between the wedding of a young man, and that of his brother. But it is considered advisable to have an interval of three to six months between the two weddings, if they are sons of the same mother. There are cases of such brothers marrying similarly blood-related sisters. Governing such instances, certain texts prescribe that there should definitely be a gap of at least six months between the respective weddings.

Good dates and timings
