Bangalore

EVEN if you know nothing about art, Krishnaraj Chonat's ongoing exhibition ought to make you stop dead in your tracks.

As soon as you enter the gallery, large udders virtually hit you in the face — udders made of rich yellow (one is tempted to say golden) fleece.

Prosthetic silicon, fibre glass and fake pearls, besides fleece, have been used in his exhibition titled "Sinister White", which explores the fakery, mute violence and sanitised purity of white, a colour that usually has positive associations.

"Sinister White" is on till December 11 between 10.30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Sakshi Gallery, The Presidency, St Mark's Road.
