What's here?

HER writing is usually about women and their lives and relationships. If some brand her writing women centric it doesn't quite ruffle her feathers. Prior to the publication of her new book, A Married Woman, writer Manju Kapur, fends off any suggestions that her novel is bound to create some controversy since it deals with the lesbian relationship the main character in her book gets into. "I don't think so because a lot depends on how the subject matter is treated," said Kapur. The story which developed from notes for an earlier novel, explores the life of a married woman, her relationships with her parents, boyfriends, husband, in-laws and others and is set against the backdrop of the political upheaval in Ayodhya.
