NEW Year dawns and, along with it come new beginnings and a continuaation of what has already been going on. As the main season, featuring the veterans, draws to a close, it is the time for the youngsters to showcase their talents. In dance that is.

Nungambakkam Cultural Academy has a line of them from January 1-10. Featuring students of gurus such as K.J. Sarasa (Krithika Sridharan), Malati Thotadri, Revathi Ramachandran (Shilpa) Sudharani Raghupati (Sridevi), Radha (Nisha), Udipi Lakshmipathy (Divya Kasturi) among others.

So will the other sabhas also have young dancers in their Pongal Festival. Worth taking a look at what the youngsters have to offer.
