ON January 20, Sangeeta Ishwaran, presents "Reflections".
Her work is a confluence of Bharatnatyam and other Indian classical styles with South East Asian dance traditions.
The performance is to be held at the Convention Centre, Habitat World at 7 p.m.
Trained under veteran artists like Padmabhushan Kalanidhi Narayan, Nataraja Ramakrishna, Kalakrishna, and Savithri Jagannath Rao, among others, Sangeeta has mastered both Indian classical styles as well as the South East Asian dance forms.

ALLIANCE FRANCAISE is organising a French Film Festival "The Show Must Go On".
A selection of films will be screened including Fellini's "Ginger et Fred" and Tornatore's "Cinema Paradiso" that dwell upon the celebration of stage and live performing arts in cinema.
The festival will take place at the Alliance Francaise de Delhi, South Extension from January 21-February 1.

THE Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Government of India organises "Glimpses of India". A Science and Technology Fair documenting India's rich tradition in this field will be displayed at the National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan till March 8. "Prakriti - Purussa", an exhibition displaying external images of Indian art dating back to over 5,000 years will also be presented at the National Museum till January 25.

ON the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebration of Sangeet Shyamala, Som Tiwari, disciple of Pt. Mani Ram and Smt. Bela Mukherjee of Kolkatta, presents a vocal and sitar recital at 7 p.m on January 22 at the Convention Centre, India Habitat Centre. While on January 24 at the same venue, to mark the Republic Day of India, Padmabhushan Sonal Mansingh performs "Lalleshwari", based on the legendary Kashmiri mystic — a metaphor for the rich fabric of the Indian civilisation.
