WHAT'S on the following day? To mark the 50th anniversary of the momentous discovery of the DNA structure, British Council is presenting Sir Alec Jeffreys of the University of Leicester. Sir Jeffreys invented DNA fingerprinting in 1984 and will lecture 6.30 p.m. sharp at the Nehru Centre, Worli on February 11.

A freewheeling dialogue on contemporary issues of social, economic and political import will be held today (February 9) at the Maharashtra High School, Worli at 3 p.m.
The discussion is the culmination of a series of lectures organised by Ramdas Bhatkal and his group at the Apna Bazar, Naigaon a curtain raiser to the Desh Bachao Desh Banao Abhiyan.

MATCHMAKING Theatre and Radio! What's that, do I hear you say? Well, it's a panel discussion with radio and theatre personalities that will explore aspects of the viability of radio drama, its saleability and revenue generation in an Indian context.
