EXPERTS from India and Europe are attending a two-day seminar (February 27-28) on the Conservation of Colonial Cities in and around India at the NGMA, organised by the Urban Design Research Institute and MMB. NGOs and government officials have been invited for a panel discussion. Architects, representatives of urban development organisations, UNESCO and ICOMOS will discuss urban planning and urban conservation while focussing on colonial architecture.

THE week ahead is chockfull with theatre renditions starting with this evening's performance at the NCPA of "Snapshots From An Album". "Shatranj Ke Mohre", an IPTA Presentation is being staged at the Prithvi Theatre which is also the venue February 25 and 26, 9 pm, of "Class of 84", directed by Rahul da Cunha and on February 27, 6.30 pm, "This Story Is Yours".
