On the lookout

DANCER, singer and pop artiste — rolled into one. For Honey Kalaria, all these roles just slide in with ease and as she scouts for talent in India, she says that there is nothing that gives her more satisfaction than "the discovery of new talent, nurturing it and then seeing it flower." Kalaria's job is to recommend her finds to Bollywood producers and directors who are constantly on the lookout for new talent, especially for their song and dance sequences. Kalaria, who has acted in some films, now runs a dance school. Not averse to a bit part herself, Kalaria said that later she would be in Mumbai prospecting for some of the roles being offered to her by Hindi film producers. Hoping to get away from the bump and grind routine Kalaria, like many other aspirants in Bollywood, hopes to be able to live her dreams.
