THE British Council is calling for entries to the Indo-British Digital Film Festival being organised from July 21 to 24 in New Delhi. The Festival will also travel to Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Films of all durations and genres shot or post produced on the digital format are eligible for entry. Curated in India by Madhureeta Anand Negi, the Festival will offer a platform to filmmakers and artists to break the hegemony of regular films and video art.

The Festival will showcase films that represent a new thought process in the world of digital media in both India and Britain; a starting point for collaborations in digital film and art between the two countries.

Application forms can be downloaded at www.britishcouncil.org.in Duly completed forms along with a VHS/ DVD/ VCD copy of the film should be sent to Rachna Kalra or Shankar Arora, British Council, 17 Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi 110 001.
