Why is a Dhanur Lagna native, having Rahu in Makara (aspected by Jupiter from Kanni) and running Rahu Maha Dasa from his 50th year, troubled in his domestic life?

R. Soundararajan, Chennai.

RAHU is considered good when placed in Makara, Mesha, Kanya, Kataka, or Rishabha. Even better results can come if any of these Signs is 3, 6, or 11 from Lagna. Lagna Lord Jupiter owning 1 and 4 (Kendras) and occupying the 10th (another Kendra) suffers Kendraadhipathya Dosham. Happiness in domestic life must be reckoned from 7th house, 2nd house, their Lords, Lagna Lord, and aspects over Lagna and Lagna Lord. Thus, Rahu Maha Dasa has not been favourable. Regular prayers to the family deity and to the Nava Graha-s will help.
