THE Summer Solstice arrives on Saturday, June 21 at 19:12 GMT when the Sun moves into the constellation of Cancer. Mars also moves into a water sign this week when it enters Pisces on Tuesday, June 17. Mars will remain in Pisces for six months — until December 16, 2003 — due to its retrograde motion from July 29 to September 27.

Mars usually remains in each zodiacal sign for two months. The Sun will remain in Cancer until July 23.
