"SHIVA AND SHAKTI", an exhibition by Arun Kalwankar and Nina Mistry will be on show in the Nehru Centre's AC Gallery from August 12-18. Kalwankar is a poet and film-maker and currently producer and director for educational television at the IIT, Mumbai. Nina Mistry's paintings are in multi-media forms on canvas and paper. She will also display 3D mask sculptures and installations.

TO celebrate its 22nd anniversary, the Kripa Foundation presents a live music concert "Through the years" produced by Felix Flor on August 15 at 7.30 p.m., at St. Andrew's Auditorium, Bandra (West) featuring among others Ella and Shahriyar Atai, Asif Ali Beg, Clint Cabral, Rahul Cardoza, Farid Currim, Clarry Devisser, Ernie Flannagan, Frederica Flor, Rosamond Flor, Brian Tellis, the singing group "Conchorde", a special performance by Salome Roy Kapur, the band "Benefit" led by Ben Fernandez and the dance groups Rhythm Razz. THE Paranjoti Academy Chorus and Bombay Chamber Orchestra will perform Bach's Concerto for Flute, Concerto in D Minor for Piano by Mozart and the Ode to Joy from the Ninth Symphony by Beethoven. At the JJ Bhabha Theatre on August 10, 6.0 p.m.

Coomi Wadia conducts the concert, with guest musicians from the United Kingdom.

ARTS@ATHENA, the fortnightly series of art and culture events at the upscale Athena Champagne and Cigar Lounge features Alyque Padamsee's "Conscience is as conscience does", stand-up comedy by Gary Richardson, a pas de deux by Sita Thompson and Sandeep Soparikar plus poetry, movement and an art show by Dipaali Edwankar.Venue: Athena, Minoo Desai Road, Colaba. "ROOTS EN ROUTE", an exhibition of works by select artists with professional training from the United Kingdom will be displayed from August 12-28, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Sakshi Gallery. Talks, which form part of the Exhibition, include "Binary Palette: An Overview of Digital Art" by Jaideep Mehrotra on August 13, 6.30 pm.
