Protein and enzyme chemistry is an area of science that is attracting huge investments worldwide because of the recent gene structure analysis (genomics), besides the exciting prospect of a large number of unknown proteins being discovered in the process.

The increasing activity in the field will lead to the advancement in medical knowledge.

So, in addition to Indian scientists, 15 foreign scientists and experts in the field have been invited for an international conference on "Stabilisation of enzymes" and "Biosensors" at Hotel Savera, Radhakrishnan Salai, from today to November 28.
