Books galore
The Bookpoint, on Anna Salai, is all set for the year-end fever. The bookstore is offering fabulous discounts on a wide range of books. The sale to commemorate the ``World Disability Day'' on December 3, will be on till December 16. A special discount up to 50 per cent will be offered on the complete range from the Oxford University Press.
Timed in the midst of the Music Season, The Bookpoint will also be hosting a workshop-cum-lec-dem on the performing arts by classical danseuse, Vidya Bhavani Suresh. Titled "Appreciating fine arts'', it will deal with the connection and implementation of ``Mathematics in Dance and Music". The city's student populace will also get a chance to witness a performance that cuts across the barriers, to present an interesting fusion of arts with the number Sciences.
