THE RANGE of products on display can be every woman's delight — ethnic and western jewellery, Spanish lingerie, Chinese home linen and designer handbags from Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
From December 13 to 15, Vimonisha Gallery will hold an exhibition of its private collection of various products, handpicked with care for the discerning and trendy women of Chennai.
The Gallery has been a well-known exhibition centre since 1989.
On show will also be an exciting range of Indian designer wear from Mumbai — salwar kameez fabrics with exquisite Kantha embroidery, block printed and hand painted sarees and salwar suits from the talented karigars of Shantiniketan and surrounding villages.
Maenwhile, Western designer wear from Barcode International is being exclusively presented for the show. Barcode makes garments that suit the Indian woman's personality and tastes. The clothes are reasonably priced.
Precious jewellery from Umrao Jewellers, Delhi, will be another attraction at the exhibition.
While the handmade jute and leather bags from Fetish of Mumbai with beads, sequins, embroidery and zardozi will be ideal to show off on any occasion — formal or informal. The irresistible home linen in cutwork and appliqué work by Kotton-n-Krafts, Delhi and the lingerie collection in vibrant hues from Bangalore are sure to draw a crowd.
Blouses and backless cholis in brilliant colours — mauve, burgundy, beige, blue — complete the exclusive collection.
