Melodious bhajans

Sabarimalai and the Pampa river once again come into focus. And for Ayyappa devotees it is time to schedule their trip to the sacred shine at Sabarimalai.

And for the music industry too, it is `devotion' time. And as always, this year too, there have been several singers rendering songs in praise of the Lord.

"Ayyappa Bhavani" from Music Today, has been released in three languages — Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. The nine devotional songs in the album have been sung by Madhu Balakrishnan, Krishnaraj, Mano and Ananthanarayanan. The album opens with "Anandame aarambhame", an invocation. Bhajans such as "Enna solli paduvaen", Mathuram adi mathuram" and "Parivattam kattum katti" are soothing to the ears. For more details, call 8218690/91.
