Looking inward and beyond...

THE SUDDHANANDA Foundation for Self-Knowledge, Uthandi, is organising a series of public talks by Swami Suddhananda from January 5 to 13 at the M.Ct, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Luz Church Road, Mylapore from 6.45 p.m. 8.00 p.m.

Swami Suddhananda is a unique Master-Teacher who has devoted his life to sharing the knowledge and wisdom handed down through the ages, which show a person `how to live, how to be'. This knowledge, Swamiji emphasises is vital to the well-being of mankind.

"First, one must look within and then go beyond using the vehicles of body and mind, to be one's true self. Every person must be given the vision of Immortality, Sensitivity, Compassion and Freedom, here and now, living in the Present."

Swamiji's teachings, with their deep insight and universal touch, are well-known for their clarity, brilliance and incisiveness, and bear the stamp of not only great minds and works of the Master's he has encountered, but also his vast reading, contemplation and spiritual depth. Widely travelled throughout India and abroad, Swamiji has addressed diverse public audiences, university students and many institutional bodies.

He has written several books, on Self-Knowledge - "Path to Pathless", "Living in Meditation", "Silence" etc.

Swami Suddhananda conducts regular classes at Uthandi, near Chennai as well as in the city. Residential camps are organised at the Uthandi ashram for students, teachers, executives and interested persons by the "Suddhananda Foundation for Self-Knowledge." Such camps are also organised by the foundation at "The Retreat Centre", Tiruvannamalai.
