Sleek and simple
THIS YEAR Amethyst rolls out the New Year with another stunning collection of garments by the `Hidden Harmony' range of clothing.
With experimentation at its creative best, designers Himanshu and Sonali have attempted something unique with the forms, shape, texture, and colour of the clothing. While their designs are usually devoid of garish embellishments, including buttons and zips, the designers have preferred to use pleats, wraps and ties instead.
With an absolute keen eye for the choice of fabrics used, the designs speak a different language of characteristics in each set to determine the final form. This is where the drape, weight and texture of the fabrics attain a truly exotic form, and the garments its exclusive look!
Himanshu and Sonali have also flagged off their second label "Kaya" based on their same philosophies except that these assume simpler styling and is priced at an affordably lower range.
All the effort put in by the designers emphasise on comfort and purity of line.
Amethyst will also feature jewellery in aluminium by Manreet Deol.
His varied range includes bangles, rings and hair accessories. The designs are so chunky... not for the faint-hearted though!
