Colour `galatta'

AN EXHIBITION of works of eminent painters, sculptors and students of the College of Arts is being organised by Vikatan "vanna kalanjiyam".

The artists, both established and amateurs, have created their works at a series of art workshops, `Colour Galatta' conducted by Chutti Vikatan last year.

The show will be inaugurated by Kalanidhi Maran today at 6 p.m. at the Lalit Kala Academy, Greams Road. It will be on till January 27. The exhibition will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tamilnadan, art critic, C. Dakshinamoorthy, artist and S. Gopal, Principal of Arts and Crafts College, Chennai, will also be present at the inaugural. A part of the proceeds will be donated to the SOS Children's Villages of India.
