Artistic pursuits

The coming weeks have lots in store by way of entertainment.

To begin with there's the Western dance show.

Titled "Ensemble", the programme is being presented by students of The Academy of Modern Danse, which is affiliated to the Common Wealth Society of Teachers of Dance, Australia.

More than 140 members will be showcasing their talent in jazz, ballet, Salsa, tap and many other dance forms. The show is scheduled for February 6, 7.30 p.m., at the Music Academy, TTK road. Tickets, priced Rs 200, Rs 100, and Rs 50, are available at Landmark at Spencer's and Nungambakkam.

Women's special

The other interesting happening is on television.

"What Women Want"... that's the title of a show to be telecast on Channel [V] on February 5, at 8.00 p.m. And what's it all about?

VJ Pooja talks to actresses Revathi Menon and Shobana. Revathi has made her directorial debut with "Mitr- My Friend".

While, Shobana, who is the protagonist of the film, will share her experiences with viewers.

Not just that, the actresses will also talk about their views on various other subjects.

Isn't that entertainment enough? Stay tuned!
