Vying for Vishu honours?
FEELS LIKE a re-play of the Onam scenario. During September this past year, the two superstars of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohanlal had a release each — `Rakshasaraajavu' and `Raavanaprabhu'. After initial hiccups, `Raavanaprabhu' walked away with the credits, leaving `Raakshasaraajavu' trailing behind. Now, it is time for the "clash of the Titans - part 2". Mohanlal's `Onnaman' and Mammootty's `Phantom Pailey' will once again be vying for top honours. Though initially slated for a Vishu release, the films may be held back by a fortnight, in view of the SSLC examinations. So, a fortnight from now, the real tension will set in. Until then, Vinayan's `Oomapenninu Uriyadapayyan' and Dilip's `Kuberan' will hold fort!
