Towards AIDS awareness

YRG CARE, a leading charitable organisation committed to reducing the impact of HIV/AIDS, is offering a free training programme for adolescents in the age group 14-19. The programme, "HIV Prevention: You Can Make A Difference" will simplify issues concerning the disease in relation to teenagers and will motivate them to carry the message of prevention and hope to all sections of society.

The three-day workshops will be held in English from May 2-4 and again from May16-18 and in Tamil from May 9-11 and again from May 23-25. Those interested in participating are required to write a short letter introducing themselves to the Information Officer, YRG Care, No.1, Raman Street, T. Nagar before April 28. Selected candidates will be awarded certificates on completion of the training.
