Channel moves

IN A continuing revamp and recruitment at Zee TV, Apurva Purohit joins them as President of Zee TV in late July. He is to have his office in Mumbai and will report to Group Broadcasting CEO, Zee Telefilms Ltd., Sandeep Goyal. Zee is apparently looking for "a fine balance of media science, interpretation and innovation," from Purohit, who currently heads Lodestar, the media arm of FCB-Ulka.

At a humbler level, MTV have finally bid farewell to Malaika Arora, off to have her baby. Shenaz is taking her place on MTV Loveline, beside irrepressible Cyrus Broacha. The MTV VJ Hunt has ended with Anusha, Sophia, Aditya and Ramona being announced the winners.

They were recently launched in Mumbai at a do where Anamika, Shaan, Adnan Sami and Euphoria provided the music.
