Minor adjustments
Although the Call Taxi services in Chennai have been quite satisfactory with prompt and courteous drivers, small improvements on their part would be welcome. (1) The taxis need to run on comfortable speed. This is not only for road safety but to avoid old people having palpitations while travelling. (2) The short-wave radio communication system between the driver and the control room should be put off when the commuters travel. (3) The charges need to be a systematic one when it comes to waiting time during the departure. While some allow 15 minutes waiting time, there are those who charge extra for the same, and some even come15 minutes earlier and activate the meter at the scheduled time, whether the commuter has got in or not! Can we not have a uniform rule?
