Telugu stars turn political

CHIRANJEEVI'S LATEST blockbuster "Indra" not only has the catch line, "Born for the People", but he has also recently declared in Chandrababu Naidu's constituency Kuppam, near Tirupati, that he is not averse to stepping into politics if there is a vacuum in the leadership. The star seems to be paving the way for a political career after retiring from films.

Nagarjuna also seems to be on the same track, with pictures of him and the new BJP chief, Venkaiah Naidu and Central Minister Dattatray being widely circulated. TDP, BJP {mdash} it looks like Telugu stars are learning a whole new alphabet.
